Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, including strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport, which resulted in casualties, according to a post on X.

"I commend the vigilance and professionalism of the Saudi armed forces and the Coalition in intercepting multiple ballistic missiles and their tireless efforts to protect innocent lives and safeguard the Kingdom," Sharif said.

Pakistan stands in "unwavering solidarity" with Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed its commitment to the kingdom's "sovereignty, territorial integrity and security" in line with the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement, according to the premier. Sharif also voiced full support for Saudi Arabia's "legitimate right to defend its people and protect its cities and vital infrastructure."

"The Houthi militia must immediately cease these attacks. We will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Saudi Arabia in the face of these threats," Sharif stated.

The statement reflects Pakistan's alignment with the Saudi-led coalition opposing Houthi operations. Sharif's remarks came after recent Houthi ballistic missile strikes targeting Saudi infrastructure.
